Preparing a great CV isn’t difficult. The key thing to do is to tell a prospective employer what you have to offer using clear and simple language. Typically, you should keep your CV to one or two pages.
We’ve detailed below some Do’s and Don’t’s of CV preparation.
Do:

provide your name and address

list university and colleges attended, degrees, diplomas or certificates earned and any courses taken

describe your work history in reverse chronological order. For each job, state your job title, responsibilities and your accomplishments

include a personalized cover letter outlining your qualifications for that specific job

be accurate, precise and concise;

Don’t:

let your CV exceed two or three pages

include unnecessary information such as company addresses and phone numbers

include outlandish or unprofessional details
